In the heart of Tunisia, an ancient art lives on. Here, glass is born of earth and fire—shaped not by machines, but by the steady hands and breath of master artisans. Each piece begins as molten light, coaxed into form with a delicate dance of skill and intuition.

This is the legacy of Carthage and the Phoenicians, of Roman elegance and Andalusian refinement. For centuries, Tunisian glassblowers have infused their creations with the colors of their landscape: deep Mediterranean blues, sunlit ambers, and the soft greens of olive groves.

Glass is formed differently from other materials.

It is expanded, not carved—shaped through breath, heat, and continuous motion.

At Bynumide, we honour this heritage. Each piece is hand-blown, using recycled glass that is gathered, melted, and transformed into a new form.
